I need a little advice: I have currently got 85 Resale products listed on my JVZoo Seller Dashboard and have not received a single sale from either affiliates or direct. Why? Am I doing something wrong? I started listing in the middle of January. If you want to peak at a few listings, here is my JVZoo Public Profile:
What are you doing to promote your products? What are you doing to recruit affiliates? Just because you list products on jvzoo doesnt guarantee sales. I have had mastermind members do the same as you, put products on jvzoo and not make any sales. You still need to do the basics of internet marketing in order to make sales.
I wanted to do that before and realized that lots of other people had the same idea... means the same product was listed already before, also without sales....So you cannot expect sales putting up exactly the same product without promoting it....
Why don't you create a package with some related products together and add some of your knowledge to it, give your own name for the package so it's unique and the name not listed yet... that could work....
This is what I just did, will go live with my product this week... will keep you updated if it work....

of course the more products you have online the more income streams you could generate.... but if nobody knows about it and if the quality is that you "only" put a product online, this is not enough...or at least that's what I have experienced....
competition gets bigger because more people know about IM, but the other thing is that there is tons of material to learn, and if you pick the right thing and stay FOCUSED then your chance is much bigger to make some money
I wonder if it's the fact that most marketers who are looking for something to promote on JVzoo are mostly looking for IM related products? I only say that because I noticed your product line looks to be quite diverse. Of course not a bad thing, just seems JVZoo is geared more towards IM products?
Are you even getting many affiliate requests? I know I've gotten quite a few requests, but no one makes any sales. So might just be your not getting the ones that actual try to sell?
That is one of my con's about JVzoo, that you have to request everything. I know why and it is a good thing. But a pain if you looking to get links now.
The thing that I have noticed is that most people put something up on jvzoo (usually doing the spaghetti method) and just expect to make sales. They forgot the most important rule of IM:
Classic example was my latest jv wso (weight loss niche). My business partner decided to launch the wso with no pre launch promotion, got a couple of sales from friends. I sent a skype message to a friend who is a health and fitness guru (some of his products are in RRW and he is a personal trainer as well) and he said he would send an email out in the next week or so. With that 1 email he almost tripled the sales had for the launch. Also this launch has made more money in less than a week, than my jv partner's last 2 wsos combined and they have been out for 7 months now.
Moral of the story: You have to promote your products in order to make money! Some people live by the "Hope is not a plan" mindset and they wonder why they dont make money. IM is just like any other business. There are certain rules to it. If you violate the rules you dont make money.
The other thing I have noticed is people put the same MRR product up on jvzoo as is! You have to make your product unique..even if its MRR! Fabian aka Surffab is one of my coaching clients and with my help he took a MRR product from RRW and created a unique package and has sold it successfully on jvzoo.
This is what I mean. Doug you sell quite a few IM products but are you using what those products teach in your own IM business for your IM business?
